“Sticks and stones can break my bones, but words will never hurt me”
This was a cute little saying that most of us heard growing up in response to us complaining about another child saying something mean. As we grew up I’m sure many of you like myself discovered that nothing could be further from the truth. Words Hurt.
What about when those words come from our own mouth? What if they are inside our head and never actually leave our lips, do you think they matter?
